This Irish fan led a one-man cleanup after the street party in Bordeaux last night
THE IRISH HAVE arrived in Bordeaux and are already making their presence keenly felt.
The Connemara Irish Pub in Bordeaux has become the unofficial Ireland Supporters HQ with hundreds gathering outside to drink and sing songs. (Main takeaway from Euro 2016? Irish supporters love a good chant.)
Last night, Barry Fitzgerald was outside the pub when he witnessed an Irish fan stage a one-man cleanup operation.
Fitzgerald told DailyEdge.ie that the “road outside had been closed by the cops as there were so many Irish fans partying on the street drinking cans and bottles.”
Was anyone else cleaning up? The authorities, perhaps?
Good lad.
The same fan was also spotted balancing on a wooden pallet while scores of adoring fans chanted at him. (Unfortunately, there’s no audio so we can only imagine what they were singing this time.)
